Erdut vineyards are located on the east slopes of Dalj Hill along the Danube river that flows right next to the village of Erdut and forms a peninsula. Company Erdut has 460 hectares of vineyards, mostly young ones.
Erdut vineyards offers a sighteseeing tour of the old wine cellar, from 1730, and of the new winery of total capacity of 6 million liters, right next to the vineyards. Erdut wine cellar has the biggest wine barell in the world, capacity of 75.000 liters, that is still in use and it’s really an impressive sight for visitors.
